Creative Critical Reflection: Integration of Technologies
How did you integrate technologies - software, hardware, and online - in the project?
Wacom Cintiq 22HD (To my knowledge of its version)- Used Photoshop from my computer and connected them together to draw and add more detail on the poster to gain the full effect for the shadows and mystery.
Laptop:
Wacom Cintiq 22HD (To my knowledge of its version)- Used Photoshop from my computer and connected them together to draw and add more detail on the poster to gain the full effect for the shadows and mystery.
Laptop:
- Adobe Premiere Pro: Editing the film together and coloring it along with integration of the music into the project.
- Adobe After Effects: Title slide and using downloaded assets to give it a better effect. Made a HUD eye to put into Riot's eye in order to add to the sci-fi aspects of the film. I had to make a mask layer and learn how to track and parent the tracking date to a null layer, along with parenting my mask to the null eye though I went through and key framed by mask and ending up doing the same thing for the entire tracking process of the project
- Adobe Audition: Robot alteration of the voices of our two actors in the scene, but using some distortion effects.
- Adobe Photoshop: Working on the posters and using the Cintiq to finish the job.
- YouTube: I looked at many videos to help me learn new things, such as the HUD eye effects, and altering voices to sound more like "Ultron." I even watched some videos about adding robotic parts to the body of actors digitally.
Phone:
- Music: I listened to a lot of music to decide what I wanted my friend to make for me so that I could capture the tone of my scene.
- Text: I texted my actors, music producer, and partner in production in order to coordinate all of the activity for the project.
Canon Rebel T6i: I show the film on my camera. Using my own lighting and facing the cameras to the ground, I got a lot light that simply lit our actors enough to see them on camera and not lose the effect of the candles lighting the scene in the final edit. I had to raise the ISO filter on the camera and because it so dark and shading, raising my f-stops and shutter speed would only darken it too much for what we trying to accomplish and we could just finish the shading in post.
